Left Guard: Jack Mewhort, Joe Haeg

As a 2014 2nd round pick of the Colts,

Jack Mewhort

has quietly developed into one of the game’s better young starting offensive guards. He’s only missed 2 starts over the past 2 seasons and has been one of the few bright spots along the Colts offensive line. He could very well make the jump from a very good to an elite offensive guard this upcoming season.

Behind Mewhort is 5th round pick Joe Haeg, who the Colts have been trying out at offensive guard during the team’s offseason practices. Haeg has impressive athleticism and could eventually slide over to offensive tackle. However, he has experience blocking for a former top pick at quarterback already, having protected this year’s 2nd overall pick, Carson Wentz, and his blindside while at North Dakota State.
