Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver great Reggie Wayne visited Miami Dolphins mini-camp on Wednesday:

Despite donning an unnatural Dolphins hat and shirt, Colts fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as Wayne won’t be joining another one of the Horseshoe’s old AFC East rivals anytime soon–like the Patriots just last offseason (sorry, everyone).
The former Miami Hurricanes standout was in-town due to his longtime relationship with new Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen, who coached Wayne from 2002-14 while with the Colts:
"Clyde coached him for a long time, and they were together in Indy forever," Adam Gase on Reggie Wayne showing up for practice.

While the 37 year old’s playing days are safely over, Wayne was likely happy to be surrounded by football again during a familiar time of the offseason for him.
There’s no question that he could become a valuable resource for some of the Dolphins younger receivers such as Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills, and rookie Leonte Carroo among others:
Leonte Carroo said Reggie Wayne told the receivers he practiced harder than he played on the games, making a point that preparation is key.

The next question could be when are the Colts bringing Wayne in for an offseason visit and to work with some of their younger receivers.
Now officially removed from the game, it certainly couldn’t hurt, could it?
