5. Tevaun Smith, WR Iowa

The Hawkeyes wideout may not have had outstanding production, recording 32 receptions for 563 total receiving yards and 3 touchdown receptions in 12 games during his senior season.

However, it’s his physical measurables that make him an intriguing developmental wide receiver prospect at 6’0″, 205 pounds with a 4.41 forty time and 38 inch vertical jump.

Smith definitely has the size and soft hands at wideout, but it’s just a matter of whether he can refine his route running and learn the nuances of his position to make his mark.

While the Colts are set at wide receiver atop the depth chart with the likes of T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, and Phillip Dorsett, there is at least a roster spot up for grabs behind them at the position.

Smith has the size and speed to be in strong consideration for a roster spot at wide receiver if he can put on a strong showing this offseason. With the Colts frequently deploying 3 and 4-wide receiver sets, he could frequently see the field with the offense.
