Daniel Davie, CB Nebraska

Summary:

The 6’0″, 190 pound senior cornerback was limited by a groin injury this past season, but still managed 18 tackles and 5 pass breakups in 6 games (5 starts).

He finished his Cornhuskers career with 67 tackles including 6 tackles for loss, 11 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions in his 4-years with the team.

Davie posted solid measurables at his pro day with a 4.41 forty time, as well as a 39 inch vertical–the latter which would’ve been the 4th best at the NFL Combine among cornerbacks.

While the Colts appear set atop the depth chart at cornerback, Davie will likely compete for a spot lower on the depth chart and by showing he can contribute on special teams.
