Chester Rogers, WR Grambling State

Summary:

The 5’11”, 180 pound wideout caught 46 receptions for 707 receiving yards and 6 touchdown receptions for the Tigers in 12 games.

According to Sporting News, he was one of the top prospects to watch at this past January’s “Dream Bowl”:

"2. Chester Rogers, WR, Grambling State Rogers offers fantastic after-catch quickness, balance to adjust and fight upfield through contact and separation ability off the snap. He has grown into a player of note for NFL teams after impressing against quicker cornerbacks, and I’d expect the explosive receiver/returner to be a receiver that teams track through the process."

At his pro day, he posted a forty time from 4.39-4.46 and recorded a vertical jump of 36 inches.

While the Colts are set atop their wide receiver depth chart, there are spots available lower that Rogers could potentially snag with a strong offseason showing.
