Danny Anthrop, WR Purdue

Summary:

The 6’0″, 193 pound wide receiver caught 57 receptions for 430 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns for the Boilermakers. However, Anthrop can also contribute on special teams, as he returned 16 kickoffs for 272 total kick return yards (17.0 avg. KR).

While he tore his ACL nearly a season ago, Anthrop posted a 4.40 forty time at his pro day, which was very impressive to say the least.

He’ll presumably compete for a wide receiver spot lower on the depth chart. However, the fact that he’s had prior experience on special teams gives him an added boost.

According to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt, he’s among one of the NFL’s top undrafted free agents.
