According to NFL.com, Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson was among the NFL’s lead executives that attended Ohio State’s Pro Day on Friday:

While Buckeyes pass rusher Joey Bosa will be long gone by pick #18, the Colts could have their choosing of several other highly regarded Ohio State prospects such as cornerback Eli Apple, safety Vonn Bell, running back Ezekiel Elliott, offensive tackle Taylor Decker, or linebacker Darron Lee early on.

Not to mention, there are other intriguing athletic Buckeyes prospects such as wide receiver Braxton Miller or quarterback Cardale Jones that could pique the Colts interest a little later on.

Of course, the Colts under Grigson haven’t been strangers to picking former Buckeyes either, as the team drafted former Ohio State standout offensive lineman Jack Mewhort in the 2nd round of the 2014 NFL Draft. A selection that has seemingly worked out very well so far.

The Colts could take a hard look at many of Ohio State’s talented prospects, as a lot of their top players coming out for this year’s NFL Draft also happen to play at positions of serious need for the team.
