Greg Toler

Should he be re-signed: Hell no.

There is no way they should give Toler another contract. The only reason he didn’t make the list of most targeted corners is because he missed six games last season. PFF had him ranked 106th among cornerbacks in the NFL. He was also the lowest graded player among the Colts starters.

Toler is a defensive liability who clearly doesn’t fit the man-to-man scheme the Colts have been using. Couple that with an inability to stay healthy (14 missed games the past three seasons) as well as his age (31) and there really is no reason to bring Toler back in 2016.

He might be a cheap option (certainly less than the $5.8 he made in 2015), but one that will hurt the team. The Colts will need depth at cornerback and D’Joun Smith still remains an unknown quantity. That leaves free agency (which could get expensive) or the draft.
