The Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl trio of Mike Adams, Vontae Davis, and T.Y. Hilton was relatively quiet in a 49-27 Team Rice loss to Team Irvin on Sunday evening.
Their stat lines read as follows:
- Mike Adams: 2 tackles
- Vontae Davis: 2 tackles, 2 passes deflected
- T.Y. Hilton: 0 receptions
It could’ve been much more, as Hilton nearly caught a 2nd quarter, 51-yard bomb from Team Rice quarterback Derek Carr of the Oakland Raiders that was initially ruled a touchdown, but was later overturned as Hilton apparently failed to maintain control of the football after contact with the ground:
Derek Carr's TD pass to T.Y. Hilton was actual poetry in motion, but it didn't count – https://t.co/3nGlK75kbW https://t.co/YHHudpM9H7

Nevertheless, it was fun to see some of our favorite Colts players out there and representing the Horseshoe “in style”:
