Grading the Colts Free Agent Class of 2015

2-years. $14 million. TRENT COLE. C. Cole caught fire for the Colts late in the season, having had 3 sacks in his final 5 games. However, those 3 sacks were the only sacks he had all season. The Colts were likely expecting more sacks from the 11-year veteran. <p>Still, it wasn’t all bad for Cole. According to ProofootballFocus, he received the 19th best pass rushing grade at +7.1 among all 3-4 outside linebackers, which was right between the Houston Texans <strong>Jadeveon Clowney</strong> and Green Bay Packers <strong>Julius Peppers</strong> respectively.</p> <p>That being said, the fact that Cole only had 3 sacks on the year, and it took nearly 3/4th’s of the season to record his first one, and it’s hard to give him anything more than an average grade.</p>
