According to Fox Sports NFL Reporter Alex Marvez, the Indianapolis Colts are interviewing two other linebackers coaches in the Miami Dolphins Mark Duffner and New York Giants Jim Hermann:

It comes after an earlier report that the Colts were also interviewing Ken Fajole for the vacant coaching position.

Duffner just completed his 2nd season as the Miami Dolphins linebackers coach. Prior to joining the Dolphins, he coached the same position for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2006-13), the Green Bay Packers (2003-05), and the Cincinnati Bengals (1997-2002)–where he was also the team’s defensive coordinator (2001-02).

The 62 year old has 41 years of coaching experience at both the professional and collegiate ranks.

Hermann just finished his 7th season as the New York Giants linebackers coach (2009-15). Before coaching for the Giants, he was the linebackers coach for the New York Jets (2006-08). He also served as Michigan’s defensive coordinator (1997-2005) and as an assistant (1985-1996)–his alma mater.

The 55 year old has 37 years of coaching experience at both the professional and collegiate ranks.

Each coaching candidate will be interviewing to replace recently dismissed linebackers coach Jeff FitzGerald, as part of new defensive coordinator Ted Monachino‘s revamped defensive coaching staff.
