Defensive Tackle: Tony Siragusa (1990-96)

Siragusa is mostly going to be remembered for his time in Baltimore with the Ravens. The simple fact of the matter is that the Colts really don’t have much of a history of talented players along the interior of the line since moving to Indianapolis. Since 1984, Siragusa made the biggest impact on the Colts roster from this position.

An undrafted player picked up in 1990 out of the University of Pittsburgh, Siragusa was with the Colts through the 1996 season. During his time in Indy, “Gusa” racked up 16.5 sacks, 362 tackles, and four forced fumbles. He was a big part of the 1995 team led by Jim Harbaugh that was a play away from the Super Bowl.

Siragusa decided to leave the Colts after the 1996 season in part because of his dislike of new coach Lindy Infante and how the team had treated the previous coach, Ted Marchibroda. He would sign with the Ravens and become an integral part of one of the most dominant defenses in the past 20 years, which won Super Bowl XXXV at the end of the 2000 season.
