Punter: Pat McAfee (2009-present)

The Colts have really just had two names stand out on this list in the past 30 plus years, Hunter Smith and Pat McAfee. And while Smith has a great band, he’s never been named to an All-Pro team roster. McAfee was a dominant force in 2014, and it wasn’t a fluke. This season, his punts are averaging 48.4 yards per attempt and he has become an incredible weapon in the field position game. McAfee is easily among the top three punters in the NFL over the past few seasons.

McAfee is also a savant on kickoffs, perpetually drilling the ball out of the endzone and forcing touchbacks. It can’t be stated how valuable this is, if only for the fact that it allows Vinatieri to specialize in just field goals (honestly, I don’t know why more teams don’t take this approach).
