Right Wide Receiver:

Marvin Harrison

(1996-2008)

Harrison should be a lock for the Hall of Fame this year (since he’s waited his turn, or whatever). He is second among wide receivers in catches all-time (third overall in receptions) and seventh in receiving yardage. He is also ninth in touchdowns by non-quarterbacks.

Harrison was named to the All-Pro team three times in his career and went to six Pro Bowls. From 1999 through 2006, Harrison was a staple in Hawaii. Yes, he benefited from having Manning, but Harrison is still second all-time in receptions by a wide receiver and that isn’t just because of his QB.

Harrison was extremely quiet and not very media friendly, and therefore didn’t draw the fans in like Wayne. But his greatness is undeniable and had he played his entire career with Manning, he might very well have been the greatest receiver in NFL history.
