Left Tackle:

Tarik Glenn

(1997-2006)

Glenn was effectively a wall, shield the left side of the field and keeping Manning safe. I mean wall seriously because at 6-5 and 332-pounds, Glenn was approximately four feet wide (having walked past him at Lucas Oil, I can personally attest to this).

Glenn made the Pro Bowl his final three years in the league and opted to retire early after the Colts won the Super Bowl. It was a struggle to replace him after that and it would take five years to find his eventual replacement. Many might consider Glenn a Hall of Famer, but he played in an era with great left tackles and with a QB who made a lineman’s job easier by getting rid of the ball quickly.
