Bert Jones (1973-1981)

Behind Manning and Unitas, Jones was the longest tenured quarterback for the Colts. Jones was one of just three quarterbacks to receive a passer rating for a season about 100 during the defense dominated 1970s. His 1976 season ranks up there with Roger Staubach and Ken Stabler and Jones was MVP that year.

Jones led the Colts to three straight playoff appearances from 1975-77. Injuries would cut short his following two seasons, and he was never the same player after those years as the team started to fall into decline once more.
