Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is making progress in his recovery from a lacerated kidney, but has still not resumed practicing as of Wednesday (via the Indianapolis Star’s Stephen Holder):
Andrew Luck did some gassers today, and said he is throwing short, intermediate and deep passes right now. No practice just yet.

Luck wouldn't be specific on projecting when he would practice, but it won't be this week based on what I see and hear.

There shouldn’t be any cause for alarm; however, as he should still return right around his original timetable of 4-6 weeks–even exactly on the dot if speculation of a Week 15 return are indeed true. Luck appears to be making progress in his recovery, so the latest news remains encouraging.
While Luck will almost certainly be out another week, the Colts did receive some positive news on Wednesday as backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was able to practice and looks like he’ll be ready to go Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars:
Hasselbeck was NOT limited today. So, there's your ray of sunshine.

The 17-year veteran suffered an awkward neck injury in Sunday night’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and was forced to leave the game midway through the 4th quarter. However, he should now be expected to play Sunday given that he was a full practice participant on Wednesday.
As a result, it looks like “Clipboard Jesus” i.e. 3rd string quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will have to continue to hold just that on the sideline for now, leaving Colts fans to exhale a collective sigh of relief.
