Marlin Jackson

Backed-up: Jason David, Nick Harper, Bob Sanders, & Kelvin Hayden– 2005-2009

Jackson was a jack-of-all trades sort of corner for the Colts in the mid to late 2000s as he had the ability to play both cornerback and safety. In the Colts 2006 Super Bowl run, Jackson was forced to play free safety in place of the injured Bob Sanders.

He started eight games in 2006 and recorded 61 tackles, the second most in his career. Jackson was also responsible for the single biggest interception in franchise history, as seen in the above video. Jackson cemented himself in Colts lore with that interception, and he was one of the better defensive back-ups the Colts have ever had.
