Colts at Titans: Week 3 Where to Watch

facebooktwitterreddit

The Indianapolis Colts face a familiar foe in the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The Colts haven’t lost to this team since 2011, winning seven straight against the Titans. But this year the Colts come to town looking for their first win of the season.

They’ll have to do with a depleted roster as tight end Dwayne Allen, OLB Trent Cole, and starting corners Greg Toler and Darius Butler are all out this week.

We’ve taken a look at this week’s matchup in our weekly What to Watch For. We also took a look at what is becoming a breakout season for wide receiver Donte Moncrief. You can also take a look at what the numbers say about the Titans and what it means for the Colts.

With all the controversy surrounding the dynamic between coach Chuck Pagano and GM Ryan Grigson, we know that isn’t the case with every relationship. Pagano said this week that Andrew Luck has played his whole career with a poor offensive line, a shot some construed to be at Luck’s poor play the past two weeks (that sound more like a shot at the man constructing the line, Grigson).

But between Luck and Pagano, there is no feud, just football.

This is about as close to a must win for the Colts as is possible. It has been 17 years since a team has started the season 0-3 and made the playoffs.
