No. 5: Outside Linebacker
With Robert Mathis still questionable for the season opener, the Colts could elect to carry 6 outside linebackers on their 53-man roster for the time being.
If so, that means that the last spot will likely come down between 3rd-year veteran Cam Johnson and former South African rugby star Daniel Adongo. Both players suffered season-ending injuries last season, but have been looking to make the most of their respective opportunities this offseason.
It’s worth noting that Johnson was “day-to-day” earlier this week because of an ankle, but either way, Adongo will at least get one last opportunity to make an impression on coaches and management.
