Colts Players To Watch On Defense In 2015

You didn’t forget about him did you? I feel like a lot of NFL fans forgot the Robert Mathis was the sack king in 2013, he’s been absent from the Colts since then with an Achilles injury. Although Mathis is starting training camp on the PUP list, there is no doubt we will see him in the 2015 season.
The great thing about Mathis is his work ethic and drive to succeed. I would loosely compare him to Kevin Garnett in regards to his winning attitude and his commitment to the game. He is also a player that those young Colts can look up to, as he is one of the most loyal Colts that I can remember, much like Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne.
Even though he is 34 years old, I can see a big year coming out of Mathis, I won’t say sack king numbers, but I think he can hit double digits. It’s that competitive nature that keeps driving him back to Indy each and every year.
