Analysis: The 6’4, 251 pound Sinz was a steady contributor for the Boilermakers, where he caught 80 passses for 670 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns over 4 seasons. He was named an Academic All-Big Ten for Purdue.

At his Pro Day, he ran a 4.82 forty time, had a 31.0 inch vertical, and performed 18 reps on the bench press.

Like Sifrin before him, Sinz has his work cut out for him in making the Colts roster. Nevertheless, it’s nice to see that the Colts are giving a local product an opportunity to make the team’s 53-man roster. While Allen, Fleener, and Doyle figure to be ahead of him next season, Sinz could be worth a look on the Colts practice squad and should challenge both Sifrin and Swoope for a potential spot.
