Week 8, November 2nd: at Panthers, 8:30 PM EST on ESPN (Monday Night Football)

The Panthers feature a former #1 overall pick themselves in former Auburn star Cam Newton, the dynamic and super-talented quarterback that was selected in 2011. Newton has the running game of Jonathan Stewart to keep offenses honest and is building chemistry with the big and talented Kelvin Benjamin at wideout.

Their defense is strong, as they are led by the tackling machine in All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly. However, if the defense can get back to the greatness it was in 2013 and the offense rolling a bit more, this could be a Super Bowl contending team. This figures to be an exciting game between two really good teams on primetime, if nothing else the Luck vs. Kuechly chess matchup should be fun to watch.

The Colts lost these two teams last matchup 27-19 in Week 12 of 2012, which isn’t all that bad given that the team finished 2-14 during that dismal season.
