Sergio Brown

2015 Contract:  Unrestricted Free Agent

Stats: 33 tackles, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery, 6 passes defended

PFF Grade: +5.3

The Good:

Brown filled in for Landry while he served out his suspension and made an impact immediately. Brown excels in coverage and has the speed to make plays across the field.

His stat line alone proved his versatility but as the season wore on, he saw his snaps diminish when Landry returned to the field.

The Bad:

He was mostly underutilized by the coaching staff and barely played in the last few games and playoffs. At the same time, Brown isn’t exactly a starting caliber player either. He shows flashes but isn’t consistent.

2015 Outlook:

The cupboard is bare for the Colts at safety right now. Brown has proven that he is at the very least a quality backup. The team should offer him a contract in the coming weeks.
