Hakeem Nicks

2015 Contract:  Unrestricted Free Agent

Stats: 38 receptions, 408 yards, 4 TDs

PFF Grade: -10

DVOA: -12.9% (70th) DYAR: -1 (69th)

The Good:

At times, Nicks made big plays on the field and was a solid red zone target. He also had a few big plays in the playoffs, even though he was only on the field for 60 snaps in three games.

The Bad:

The biggest knock on Nicks was his lack of effort. He rarely seemed motivated on the field and his sloppy route running was costly for the Colts. A lazy cut against the Steelers allowed his defender to intercept a pass for a touchdown.

2015 Outlook:

Nicks is a free agent and it really wouldn’t be surprising if he returned to the team this fall. Nicks didn’t prove he was worth the $4 million contract he signed and the Colts can likely sign him at a bargain price.

The Colts are thin and inexperienced at the position as of right now. At the very least, Nicks would bring a veteran presence to the receiving corps.
