Reggie Wayne Sits Out Thursday’s Practice
The Indianapolis Star’s Stephen Holder reported today that Colts’ veteran wideout Reggie Wayne watched Thursday’s practice from the sideline. Wayne is currently dealing with a sore elbow that was injured in this past Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. On the season, he has 38 receptions for 434 yards and 1 touchdown.
If the team decides to rest Reggie Wayne’s elbow a week or two, the Colts will likely turn to rookie wideout, Donte Moncrief, who may be the next man-up in the wide receiver pecking order. Wayne’s official status, according to Colts’ head coach Chuck Pagano, remains “day-to-day”.
