Pagano: Reggie Wayne is Day-to-Day

According to Mike Wells of ESPN, Indianapolis Colts’ head coach Chuck Pagano announced today that veteran wide receiver, Reggie Wayne, is day-to-day as he deals with a sore elbow. Pagano specifically noted, “Nothing of significance there.”

Wayne had landed awkwardly on his elbow early in this past Sunday’s game against the Bengals. He sat out a few plays before returning with a bandage on his elbow. He never looked quite the same for the remainder of the game, as he had two uncharacteristic drops and was laboring quite a bit in pain.

While the MRI on his elbow came back negative, it would surprise no one if Wayne misses a week or two, as he looks to rest his balky elbow. He’s age 35 afterall, so the Colts are going to be cautious with their future hall of fame wideout.
