New Moves for the Indianapolis Colts
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports
Prior to the hustle and bustle of the NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts have decided to make some moves and additions.
The Colts are in a tough situation, after giving up their top pick in 2014, for the rights to RB – Trent Richardson. Indianapolis also had to consider the fact that they have many contracts coming up next season. The Colts had to be cautious in NFL free agency, but also had to make confident moves. As the 2014 NFL Draft comes closer, the Colts have already made several slight moves, some of which could hopefully help this team in the long run.
On Monday, the Colts agreed to terms with free agent S – Colt Anderson. The Colts have also signed a qualifying offer to CB – Josh Gordy. Last week, the Colts also added two fullbacks, signing Stephen Campbell and Cameron White.
Fans of the Colts should not feel too surpised if Indianapolis makes a small splash in the draft. There are too many teams this season with too many questions. The Colts may not pick up many big names in the draft, but they could also find the best of what’s left in their lap.
