Week 15 Roster Moves for the Indianapolis Colts
Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports
Following a ridiculous loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts had to make some week 15 roster moves.
On Monday, the Colts put RB – Chris Rainey on the Injured Reserve List. Rainey injured his ankle during the third quarter of Sunday’s game, and did not return. Rainey was signed in November, and appeared in only two games for the Colts this season, primarily as a kick returner. Rainey returned six kickoffs, for a total of 131 return yards.
To add depth to the roster, the Colts came to terms with veteran running back, Tashard Choice. Choice has formerly played with the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Buffalo Bills. Over 85 career games, Choice has totaled 361 rushing attempts for 1,535 yards and 10 touchdowns, along with 80 receptions for 569 yards. Choice’s role with the Colts may be limited, but considering the lack of action in the Indianapolis running game, any help is good help.
