Week 12 Roster Moves for the Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts have made some additions, heading into their week 12 match against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Colts have brought in RB- Chris Rainey to the active roster. Rainey was originally selected by the Pittsburg Steelers in the 5th round of the 2012 NFL Draft. With the 2012 Steelers (16 games), Rainey totaled 26 rushes for 102 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Rainey added 14 receptions for 60 yards, as well. He also returned 39 kickoffs for 1,035 yards.

The Colts have also brought TE- Justice Cunningham from the practice squad up to the 53-man active roster, and once again signed WR – Griff Whalen to the practice squad. Whalen was waived earlier in the week, then brought back to the team. Whalen has caught nine passes for 102 yards (six games) so far this season. Whalen was elevated to the active roster on October 28, from the practice squad, before getting waived.

The Indianapolis Colts have also added WR – Da’Rick Rogers to the active roster. Rogers was initially selected as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills, before being released on August 26th, 2013. Rogers was signed to the Colts’ practice squad in September, before being released, and then re-signed.
