Adam Vinatieri continues to kick his way towards a Hall of Fame career.

Vinatieri, kicker for the Indianapolis Colts, has been named AFC special teams player of the week, for his performance against the Tennessee Titans last Thursday. Vinatieri made all three of his attempted field goals last week, as well as adding three extra points, helping the Colts to a 30-27 week 11 divisional win. The 18-year NFL veteran had two field goals in the 2nd quarter of the game (48, 30 yards), which were the first points for the Colts. His third field goal (50 yards) came just at the end of the 3rd quarter, as the Colts were taking over the Titans.

For the season so far, Vinatieri has 20 total field goals, and 22 made extra points. Vinatieri is a two-time Pro Bowl player, and a four-time Super Bowl Champion.
