Who are the Indianapolis Colts?
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports
The 2013 Indianapolis Colts have been like day and night. Some nights they have looked amazing, and some days they have looked just plain terrible.
For the sake of argument, the Colts did lose to the San Diego Chargers on a Monday night primetime game this season. Still, the previous analogy serves it purpose, when it comes to the Colts. Indianapolis has looked like two completely opposite teams at several times, over their first nine games of the season.
The Colts have knocked off some of the best teams in the NFL, but have also looked inept against other less-than stellar squads. The Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Denver Broncos have all been taken down by Indianapolis. The Colts have also put up ugly losses against the Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, and St. Louis Rams. Indianapolis also pulled out two close victories against the Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans, where the Colts didn’t play great throughout the game.
If the Indianapolis Colts want to make a statement this season, then they need to step up and win the AFC South. If they continue to falter, then the 2013 season could quickly fall apart.
