Indianapolis, IN – Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reported earlier this afternoon that Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw is doubtful for their Week 5 match-up with the Seattle Seahawks. Bradshaw missed the Colts’ Week 4 game against the Jaguars due to the same neck injury.
This injury has come at a bad time for Bradshaw, who had a very good game against the 49ers in Week 3 to turn some heads after the Colts traded for Trent Richardson. He is certainly missed as the second part of what the Colts hope to be a lethal dual-back system. The “Thunder and Lightning” theme between Bradshaw and Richardson is certainly going to be a solid duo once Bradshaw is able to return to active duty.
Overall, this is not one of the games that the Colts can afford to have too many missing pieces. The Seattle defense is very tough to crack, and every weapon that can be used is necessary. Trent Richardson will be carrying a large load and you can expect to see a bit of Donald Brown on Sunday as well.
