San Francisco, CA – The Indianapolis Colts will need to play their best football in order to come away with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers tomorrow afternoon, and there are quite a few injury issues to sort through before kickoff. The last couple of weeks have been a nightmare for the Colts injury-wise, with Vick Ballard, Dwayne Allen, and Donald Thomas all going down with season-ending injuries. Here is the current injury report for the Colts;
- LaRon Landry – Out
- Pat Angerer – Doubtful
- Antoine Bethea – Questionable
- Cory Redding – Questionable
- Samson Satele – Questionable
- T.Y. Hilton – Probable
- Reggie Wayne – Probable
- Darrius Heyward-Bey – Probable
- David Reed – Probable
- Kavell Conner – Probable
Those are a lot of injuries that the Indianapolis Colts are dealing with this week, especially with them going up against the defending NFC champion 49ers. The loss of LaRon Landry is a huge blow to the Indianapolis defense that had quite a few holes in it already in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. Pat Angerer would be another big loss if he’s unable to play, as he stepped up in the Colts’ Week 2 match-up with the Dolphins as well. Colts fans need to hope and pray that Antoine Bethea and Cory Redding are able to go, and that all of the players who are currently listed as probably don’t have any setbacks.
This game is a very important statement game for the Colts, and they’re going to need as many of their players as they can get. You always hate to see players go down with injuries, but this many key players being listed on the injury report the week of one of the biggest games of the season is not a good sign.
