Indianapolis, In – Once again we are heading towards a new week of the 2013 NFL season, and for many fans, that means that fantasy football is right around the corner as well. There are a few Colts that are intriguing fantasy football options this week against Miami, but I’m only going to highlight three guys that you should start in your leagues. Should be a great week, and hopefully this advice helps your teams!

Andrew Luck, Quarterback

Luck had a solid fantasy week against the Raiders last Sunday with 178 passing yards and two touchdowns, as well as rushing the football six times for 38 yards and a touchdown. He’s going to have an even bigger game this week against the Dolphins if the Colts decide to do what they’ve been working on all off-season.

Indianapolis has one of the most dangerous aerial attacks in the NFL, but they did not use it as much as expected in Week 1. You can expect to see Pep Hamilton and the Colts offense use the passing game much more frequently against a fairly weak Miami secondary. With targets like Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Dwayne Allen, and the rest of the supporting cast, he’s a good bet to put up big numbers each and every week.

T.Y. Hilton, Wide Receiver

Hilton is coming off of a fantasy dud in which the Colts did not target him nearly as much as they were expected to. He caught just three passes for a total of 20 yards on the day, and disappointed all of his fantasy owners. Head coach Chuck Pagano made it clear that the Colts will try to get Hilton many more touches and targets this week in a press conference earlier this week.

Facing a fairly weak secondary, there’s no doubt that Hilton should be able to find some openings and exploit Miami. He’s got deep threat speed and he’s a great target over the middle with open-field play-making ability. Give him a start this week, and expect him to put up very good numbers.

Reggie Wayne, Wide Receiver

Wayne is an automatic start each and every week if you’re a fantasy owner. He’ll always put up good numbers, and is Andrew Luck’s clear favorite target. He’s coming off of a very big fantasy week against the Raiders, in which he caught eight passes for 96 yards, and scored a touchdown as well.

He’s got one of the best pairs of hands in the NFL, and also possesses some of the best route-running as well. Just like Hilton, he’ll be able to shred the Dolphins defense and find openings. He’s a definite must start this week, and will put up numbers for your fantasy team without a doubt.

Those are three Colts who are expected to have the biggest fantasy football week’s. There are a few questionable players that you could start if you don’t have better options. Those players include Dwayne Allen as well as Vick Ballard. Ahmad Bradshaw has questionable value this week, but Pagano made a comment that the Colts would attempt to put the ball in his hands more despite Ballard’s stellar play.
