Indianapolis Colts to Offer Free Kickoff Concert

The official NFL Kickoff for the 2013 season will take place on Thursday night, but the fan base for each team in the league is getting excited for regular season action. The city of Indianapolis is no different, and even though the Indianapolis Colts won’t have their opening game until Sunday, the organization will get the festivities started early in the weekend.

This Friday evening, the Colts will host a free kickoff concert in downtown Indianapolis. The concert will take place on the west end of Georgia Street, in between Illinois Street and Capitol Ave. The show will start at 6:00pm Friday afternoon, and will feature Gin Blossoms, with opening act Dane Clark Band. The show is expected to end at 10:pm Friday night.

Indianapolis will be buzzing all weekend, and Friday’s kickoff concert will prove to be an exciting event for Colts fans of all ages.
