The Indianapolis Colts continue to make surprising moves.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Colts traded away 27 year-old rookie OLB/DE-Caesar Rayford to the Dallas Cowboys. In return for Rayford, the Cowboys offered up a conditional pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Rayford (6ft 7in, 245lb) was a bright spot on the Colts’ defense in the preseason, racking up five sacks in the first three games. Rayford went to college at Washington, and spent time in the AFL and CFL, prior to being brought in by the Colts. Although Rayford was an inspired player with an inspiring story, he was looking at being a part of a defense that was very stacked at his position. In Dallas, this mountain of a man could fit right into what the Cowboys are looking for.
