The Colts entered Sunday’s pre-season game vs. the Bills already missing some key players. TE Dwayne Allen, OG Hugh Thornton, C Khaled Holmes, and LB Jerrell Freeman were declared out a day before the game even started, and safety LaRon Landry ended up not playing either (knee). Bjoern Werner also worked out before the game, and the coaching staff decided since he was not at 100 percent, he wasn’t going to risk anything.
During the game, the Colts lost a few players to injury, though the length of their absence is still unknown as the team awaits MRI results. LB Justin Hickman, LB Quinton Spears, CB Cassius Vaughn, and DL Montori Hughes all left the game vs. the Bills with different injuries.
Hickman and Vaughn had MRIs on Sunday night, so the media is now simply awaiting to hear back on what the results were.
