Andrew Luck on Matt Hasselbeck’s TD pass to T.Y. Hilton:

“What a wonderful ball to T.Y.,” Luck said. “You can tell: (Hasselbeck) knows football. He knows situations. He knows how to move the ball. He’s been a great addition.”

Head coach Chuck Pagano on the 107 yard kickoff return TD by Marquise Goodwin:

“You’re not going to win any football games, or give yourself a chance to win any football games,  by giving up big plays on special teams.”

Andrew Luck on his performance against the Bills:

“I think you try to take a critical eye to when you were in the game,” Luck said. “I obviously wish we could have scored some points and had a little longer drive, but I definitely think there’s a lot to take away from this.”

Coach Pagano on the performance as a whole:

“Obviously, everybody, top to bottom, is disappointed. We never envisioned going out and playing a football game and having the outcome that we had,” he said. “We’ve obviously got to play better, and we will play better.”

Offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton on if it would be good for Andrew Luck to take some hits against the Bills:

“Absolutely not.”

Hamilton elaborates:

“It’s funny,” Hamilton added. “When Andrew was in college, when I would approach him and ask him a couple of days prior to the game, ‘Hey, give me an idea of what plays you’d like to start with,’ he would always say, ‘Hey, I want to get hit to knock the butterflies out.'”

T.Y. Hilton on his 45 yard TD grab:

“It was a route we call ‘All Day’ in camp. Once he called it I knew it was gonna happen. Matt threw an unbelievable ball, and it was my job to go get it, and that’s what I did.”
