Indianapolis Colts Pack Fans in For Night Practice of 2013 Training Camp

The ninth day of 2013 training camp for the Indianapolis Colts brought about their one and only night practice. As per usual, the night practice packed fans in. The capacity crowd of more than 7,000 Colts fans showed up to see their home team, and they were treated to quite a show.

The team was in full pads for the Tuesday night practice, and after a few days of the defense showing their stuff, it seemed that the offense stole the show on this night. Quarterback Andrew Luck finished the night practice with 26 completions (out of 35 passes) and six touchdowns. luck also finished the night with no interceptions.

Newly acquired wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey returned to the field, following a knee injury on Sunday. Heyward-Bey’s injury seems to be less intense than originally thought, and he was in attendance Tuesday night, doing drills at the beginning of practice. Heyward-Bey’s status is currently day-to-day.

The Colts took a day off from practice on Wednesday, and will return to the field Thursday morning.
