Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers to Host Celebrity Softball Game

On Thursday, June 13th, Victory field in downtown Indianapolis will host a celebrity softball game, featuring members of the city’s NFL and NBA franchises. Victory Field usually plays host to the minor league Indianapolis Indians, but on June 13th, it will be home to the fifth annual Caroline Symmes Memorial Celebrity Softball Challenge presented by The Tony Stewart Foundation.

The softball challenge, in honor of the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, gives fans a chance to see several of their favorite sports personalities and other local celebrities in an atmosphere that festive and fun for all. Past celebrities have included Peyton Manning, Dwight Freeney, Danny Granger, and Jeff Foster.

This year’s game will be captained by Robert Mathis of the Indianapolis Colts and Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers. The challenge will be a 7-inning game between the two teams, composed of other local sports figures, local celebrities, and mascots.
