Indianapolis Colts Swap Linebackers

On Thursday, in the midst of Organized Team Activities, the Indianapolis Colts made some changes at the linebacker position. The Colts decided to bring in free agent linebacker Caesar Rayford, while waiving linebacker Jake Killeen.

Rayford comes to the Colts after spending the past three years in the Arena Football League, as a member of the Utah Blaze. Prior to joining the blaze, Rayford spent time in the Canadian Football League. In three seasons with Utah, Rayford seemed to play all over the field on the defensive side of the ball. Rayford totaled 68 tackles and 22.5 sacks, while adding seven forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries. On special teams, the linebacker also blocked six kicks.

Killeen was brought to the Colts in January of this year with a reserve/future contract, after spending three years playing with the Indoor Football League.
