Indianapolis Colts Load Up on Defensive Line
The Indianapolis Colts have never been known as a big-bodied run-stopping team, but it looks like Chuck Pagano and his coaching staff are trying to change that. The Colts have made a point of loading up on the defensive line, a spot on the team that has been fairly weak for quite some time.
Indianapolis has added fresh talent to their defensive line, and also expects other players to return from injury. The Colts have brought in several new bodies to beef up the line, ranging from rookies to 11-year veterans. Indianapolis is also looking forward to Josh Chapman, Drake Nevis, and Brandon McKinney coming back to the field in good health.
All of this new attention to the defensive line is long overdue for the Colts. The competition will be fierce, and not all of these players will be around when the season begins. Still, it’s a good thing to light a fire under the current players on the defensive line. Indianapolis will surely benefit from the abundance of beef that they have brought in on this side of the ball.
