Indianapolis Colts to Hold Open Mini-Camp Practice

On Wednesday June 12th, the Indianapolis Colts will open the doors of Lucas Oil Stadium for a free mini-camp practice. The public will be welcome to come out and get an early glimpse of the new draft picks and free agents for their team. This open mini-camp practice will mark the second season in a row that the Colts have held the free event at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Last season’s initial open practice was a success on many levels. Fans got their first chance to come out on a sunny Spring day and see the reloaded Colts for the first time. Last year, fans came out to see Andrew Luck, Chuck Pagano, and a totally new team, following the departure of Peyton Manning. The team was coming off of a total gutting, and a horrid 2-14 season. The free mini-camp practice was a welcome offering to fans, helping bring Indianapolis back to their new team.
This year, the team is coming back from one of the most surprising seasons in NFL history. On top of that, there are nearly twenty more new players (free agents and draft picks) that have recently been added to the roster. Excitement is in the air, and this open mini-camp practice is a great way to help fan the flames for the new season.
The doors will open at 2:00pm, and practice is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm.
