The Indianapolis Colts continue to make moves, prior to next week’s NFL Draft. The Colts have not slowed down at all since the beginning of NFL free agency, and will most likely keep rolling throughout the offseason. These constant additions are a definitive sign of a team in the midst of a constant reloading process.

On Monday, the Colts got a signed tender from exclusive rights free agent cornerback Josh Gordy. Gordy was picked up by the Colts in August of 2012 from the St. Louis Rams, for an undisclosed pick in next year’s NFL Draft. Gordy appeared in 15 games for the Colts last season, and collected 15 tackles.

Josh Gordy is another one of many position players that the Colts have kept around on the defensive side of the ball. Although the Colts did lose a few key pieces on defense to free agency, they seem to be moving towards a youth movement, giving several low-risk players a chance to fight for a spot on this up-and-coming team. If Gordy can prove to be beneficial for the Colts on a regular basis, then he will definitely be given the opportunity to show what he can offer.
