Indianapolis Colts Continue to Sign Players in NFL Free Agency

Not only have the Indianapolis Colts been active in NFL free agency by bringing in players from other teams, but they have also decided to re-sign players, in order to build competition for certain roster spots. The Colts are looking to build a monster, and that might mean putting pieces together in patchwork fashion. Signing some players and bringing in others from elsewhere could help give this monster stronger legs to stand on.

The Colts have announced that exclusive rights free agent nose tackle Martin Tevaseu has signed his tender. Tevaseu, who was picked up off waivers by the Colts last September, will be entering his fourth season as a pro. Tevaseu appeared in 13 games for the Colts last season.

Indianapolis has loaded up on the defensive side of the ball this offseason. The defensive line has seemed to especially be a point of interest for Indianapolis. Martin Tevaseu will find himself in a very competitive position battle on this team, but it’s better to have too many big bodies on the line, than no bodies at all.
