The 2013 NFL season has officially started, less than a month after Super Bowl XLVII. The coaches and coaching staff from around the NFL have once again descended upon Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, for the NFL Scouting Combine. For the next week, multiple NFL prospects will be poked and prodded, for possible employment in the pros.

Over the next few days, young college players will be trying to impress NFL scouts, with 40-yard dash times, weight lifting competitions, and personal interviews, in order to try and get a good spot in Aprils’s NFL Draft. The Lucas Oil Stadium field and convention center will host every team in the league, as well as scouts and representatives, to see which one of these players may be the future of their franchises. Indianapolis opens its’ doors every year for this event, which helps to set up the structure for the NFL Draft.

The actual workouts begins on Saturday, and will finish up on Tuesday.  Offensive linemen, tight ends, and kickers will workout on the first day. Running backs, quarterbacks, and wide receivers will be spotlighted on Sunday. Linebackers and defensive linemen will workout on Monday, followed by the defensive backs finishing up on Tuesday.
