Injury Report for the Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Baltimore on Sunday beaten and bruised. At this point in the season, many teams have been battling through injuries, but the Colts have been playing thin all year long. Many players on this young team are worn and hurt, but if they are not seriously injured, then there is a good chance that those players will step on the field for Sunday’s playoff game.

Four players did not practice on Thursday, the same amount of players that did not practice on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Kellen Heard and tackle Bradley Sowell both missed practice with an undisclosed illness. Outside linebackers Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis did not practice as well, but both were listed as non-injury related.

The big bonus about Thursday’s injury report is how many players who were limited on Wednesday, returned to full practice on Thursday. Six Colts on the injury report came back to full practice, including linebacker Pat Angerer (illness) and tackle Winston Justice (shoulder). Former Baltimore Ravens, Cory Redding (quad) and Tom Zbikowski (knee) also returned to full practice on Thursday.

The Colts will need every body available for their wildcard battle on Sunday. These two teams have a long history for many different reasons, and there is much on the line for this game, for everyone involved.
