The list of names for the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl were announced on Wednesday night. Only two Indianapolis Colts made the Pro Bowl roster this year, which may be surprising to many fans and media alike. Veterans Reggie Wayne (WR) and Robert Mathis (OLB) will represent the Colts in Hawaii, as a part of the best players in the NFL.

Reggie Wayne has been the catalyst for this upstart Indianapolis Colts offense all season long. Wayne leads the team in all receiving categories, and has been seen as a tutor for all of the other young receivers on this team. Wayne’s 102 receptions this season is currently 5th in the league. Wayne is also 6th in the league in receiving yards, and receiving yards per game. This will be Wayne’s sixth Pro Bowl selection.

Robert Mathis has endured a difficult season with the Colts, after being switched from defensive end to outside linebacker. The switch in defense, the change in coordinator, and even the loss of his new head coach, could have buckled Mathis and this Indianapolis defense. Mathis, who will also be entering his 6th Pro Bowl, has eight sacks and 30 combined tackles so far this season.
