Chuck Pagano Returns to Indianapolis Colts

A day after the Indianapolis Colts punched their ticket to the AFC Playoffs, they returned home for an early morning meeting on Monday, which included the return of head coach Chuck Pagano. Monday marked the first time in almost exactly three months that the Colts have had their head coach back in action on a full-time basis. The lights have been left on in Chuck Pagano’s office since his departure. On Monday morning, the Colts allowed the lights to be dimmed.

Indianapolis lost their head coach in the midst of a week four by week. The prognosis was surprising, but the absence of Pagano at practice after the bye was befuddling. The team went from trying to prepare for a week five battle against the Green Bay Packers, to dealing with the loss of their leader on the sideline.

Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians took the reigns in Pagano’s absence, and helped guide the team to a rebound that was nothing less than spectacular. The Colts, with Pagano in their hearts, have battled throughout injury and adversity all season. After a tenth win on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts find themselves back in the big dance. With their head coach back at the helm, the sky is truly the limit for this strong team.
